Over 50 media workers were severely beaten and injured due to attacks by a homophobic mob protesting against Tbilisi Pride and the "March of Dignity" planned by LGBTQ+ activists. In most cases, the attacks were carried out in the presence of priests and police officers who did not intervene, allowing aggressive people to attack journalists physically and break their professional equipment. "Several dozen people attacked us, including priests. We were going to ask a question. The equipment was destroyed, my personal belongings were lost, I only had a mobile phone left. They were not interested if I was a journalist or anyone else," the quoted the words Rati Tsverava Report.
