On December 1, Aidarbek Saparov was appointed the akim of the North Kazakhstan region, replacing Kumar Aksakalov, who had headed the region for more than five years. Only a few media outlets were invited to the presentation of the new akim, and most journalists learned the news about the change of the head of the region from their colleagues from the circle of the chosen ones, Ratel.kz reports.
