Hackers hacked three Russian radio stations belonging to Multimedia Holding — Nashe Radio, Rock FM, and Radio Jazz. Hackers paralyzed a number of Multimedia Holding’s servers. Radio stations switched to backup broadcasting, streaming only music without program integrations. Attackers implemented an encryption program, which paralyzed access to databases, the file system of all services of Multimedia Holding, and corporate mail of the organization. The criminals demanded a ransom to unlock the radio stations’ servers.
