David Galstyan, the advisor to the former Armenian Minister of Defence, filed a lawsuit in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the Armenian service of Radio Liberty as well as its director Hrayr Tamrazyan, demanding compensation for damages to their honour and dignity, and a public refutation of slanderous statements. The lawsuit followed the publishing of materials on the station’s website about Galstyan’s activities as an advisor, in particular arms purchases and transactions. The case is currently being considered by the court.
