On May 16, former Nagorno-Karabakh ombudsman Ruben Melikyan, who has moved to Yerevan and is now an active member of the radical opposition, called on his Facebook page to «disliking» Radio Azatutyun and joining the campaign to publicly discredit it. According to the activist, «this propaganda outlet became the number one "information sponsor" of the conspiratorial takeover of power back in 2018 [referring to the Velvet Revolution], and today it is openly conducting propaganda to turkify Armenia».
