The Ministry of Information included the website of the online radio station Radio 97, as well as its YouTube channels, Telegram channel, logo and accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok into the Republican List of Extremist Materials based on the decision of the Leninsky District Court of Hrodna. According to the Belarusian law, distribution, and storage of materials declared extremist provides for administrative responsibility for both publishers and users. Now, users face administrative liability for storage (subscription) and distribution of materials from these Internet resources, and in case of repeated offence — criminal liability.
