Pyotr Verzilov was arrested for 15 days on a trumped-up case of petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). He was accused of using foul language in a public place. Before that, his apartment was searched with the «Moscow case», he spent the night at the police station. Coming out of the police department in the morning, a provoker attacked Verzilov. On June 25, the Moscow City Court upheld his arrest. The next day, his apartment was searched again; law enforcement officers confiscated all the equipment and passports. Nikolay Vasilyev, Agora human rights group lawyer, visited Verzilov. He told Mediazona that the security officials left no documents, including an inventory of seized items. According to him, the investigators took data carriers, phones, and a laptop.
