On March 3, the lawyer Aram Orbelyan filed a lawsuit against the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia and the Public Television of Armenia demanding a retraction of information he considered libellous, and compensation for damage. The reason for the lawsuit was information provided by the SNB in a report of the main news broadcast of the television channel dated January 30 about how Orbelyan periodically entered the building of the Constitutional Court without presenting his identification, and this was not recorded by the police on duty. The case was accepted, and judicial proceedings are underway.
