On January 5, Grisha Tamrazyan, Advisor to the Rector of V. Brusov State University, filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the Public Television Company of Armenia CJSC, demanding to refute the information considered libel. The reason for the lawsuit was the report aired on December 10, 2022, on the Vesti newscast, which said that after the elections of the Rector of the university, Tamrazyan was swearing in absentia against the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan. The lawsuit was accepted into proceedings on January 17 2022 and is being considered.
