The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has declared the media Proekt a «foreign agent». In July 2021, Proekt had already been declared an «undesirable» organisation. According to the Ministry of Justice, Proekt distributed materials of other «foreign agents». On June 1, Proekt released an investigation about Vladimir Putin’s relatives living near his estate in Novo-Ogaryovo.
