The Byaroza District Court of the Brest Region ruled that the TikTok account of the news outlet Pozirk — News about Belarus, “pozirk-online” (identifier: tiktok.com/@pozirk_online), is to be classified as extremist information material. On the basis of the court ruling, the Ministry of Information of Belarus added the internet resource to the “Republican List of Extremist Materials”. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
