Online publication Podrobno.uz received a letter from the Information and Mass Communication Agency under the President’s administration, in which the publication is explicitly intimidated by serious legal consequences which can occur if the publication continues to publish "unverified information". The editorial staff asked questions that were uncomfortable for the Ministry of Health: why patients who had not been identified as having COVID-19 were treated together with COVID-19 patients. Or, for example, why does Uzbekistan does not provide statistics on pneumonia patients separately.
