Pavel Doylid, the editor of the news website 1reg.by (Pershiy Region) was summoned to the Ivatsevichy District Police Department for interrogation as a witness in a criminal case of incitement of hatred. The case was initiated against an unidentified person for comment in one of the Telegram channels. Policemen also demanded from the journalist to give his cell phone for examination. However, since they did not have the prosecutor's permission, Doylid refused to show the smartphone content, citing the constitutional right of the secrecy of correspondence. The journalist was released after the interrogation.
