On the evening of August 27, Paul Hansen, a photographer for the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter, was detained in Minsk. He was held in a police station for several hours, along with other detained journalists. Hansen is deported from Belarus. He was given 24 hours to leave the country and banned from Belarus for five years.
