On June 6, the founder of the "In the Name of the Republic" party, Arman Babajanyan, filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against LLC "Pastinfo," demanding a retraction of information damaging to his honor and dignity. The lawsuit was prompted by an article published on April 7 on the news website "Pastinfo.am," owned by the aforementioned company. According to the article, Arman Babajanyan allegedly purchased a house in Glendale, USA, worth $1.5 million and registered it in his sister’s name. The editorial staff portrayed this as a case of money laundering. The lawsuit is currently under review.
