The Novo-Savinovsky District Court of Kazan sentenced Abuzarova to three years in a general regime colony in the case of public calls for activities against the security of the Russian Federation (Paragraph C of Part 2 of Article 280.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, Abuzarova published «calls for desertion of Russian servicemen» on social networks. In February, her apartment was searched. Since the end of March, she has been under house arrest. Abuzarova has more than 80,000 followers on Instagram, where she mainly writes on the topics of Islam, fashion, and psychology.
