The Supreme Court of Tatarstan toughened the punishment of Parvina Abuzarova in the case of calls for desertion. In addition to the previously imposed three years in a general regime colony, she was also banned from administering electronic and information networks for a year. In September, the Novo-Savinovsky District Court of Kazan sentenced Abuzarova to three years in a general regime colony in the case of public calls for activities against the security of the Russian Federation (Paragraph C of Part 2 of Article 280.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, Abuzarova published «calls for desertion of Russian servicemen» on social networks.
