On August 18, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, filed a lawsuit in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against Oragir Media LLC, demanding an apology for an insult and compensation in the amount of 3 million drams (over $7,500). The reason for the lawsuit was a cartoon of Arayik Harutyunyan, published on July 18 on the website Oragir.am, owned by the mentioned LLC, with the caption: “A pumpkin that has taken a vow of celibacy.” The lawsuit is currently under review.
