On March 13, the municipality of the Kajaran community in Armenia's Syunik Province filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against LLC "Oragir Media," demanding a retraction of information considered defamatory, an apology, and compensation in the amount of 1 million drams (over $2,500). The lawsuit was prompted by a news item published on February 13 on the website "Oragir.news," owned by the mentioned company, which claimed that the mayor of Kajaran had been stabbed on February 13 due to his bold statements. Although the editorial team later published a retraction under the article, it did not satisfy the plaintiff. The case is currently under review.
