Yerevan, 10th of December - Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan brought a lawsuit against the founder of Oragir News (LLC 'Oragir Media'), demanding a public apology, retraction of claims which the plaintiff considers slanderous, and the payment of compensation. This was based on a 29th of November article on the site claiming that the mayor had purchased a Yerevan city centre building formerly belonging to the Ministry of Health, and was planning to demolish it with the view to building a house. The suit is under consideration.
