The police detained Ophelia Guseynova (Liya), blogger and author of the @XAXA_SEMEY Instagram page. This was reported to Exclusive.kz by entrepreneur Aydos Serikkaliuly. According to him, Liya covered the round table «Actual problems of the region» on June 7, where entrepreneurs of Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk said that they suffered from the actions of the head of the region Danial Akhmetov and in an appeal to the president of the country, demanded the removal of the akim of the East Kazakhstan region. «Her detention is related to her criticism of the akim», — the businessman said. The police department did not confirm the detention of the blogger, but did not deny it either.
