The Moskovsky district court of Minsk denied accreditation to journalists of the BelaPAN news agency to announce the verdict in the criminal case instituted against journalist Katerina Borisevich and doctor Artem Sorokin for allegedly disclosing medical secrets. The court motivated the refusal by the lack of seats in the courtroom and “unfavourable epidemiological situation”. Many independent media was refused accreditation. However, journalists from the state media were allowed into the courtroom.
