The Lida District Court of the Grodno Region has recognised as extremist information materials a TikTok social media account titled “onlineua” (tiktok.com/@onlineua?lang=ru-RU), affiliated with the Ukrainian independent media outlet ONLINE.UA, as well as the outlet’s logo. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added the internet resource to the “Republican List of Extremist Materials”. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
