Late in the evening, the civil activist, journalist, and member of the supervisory board of the Foundation for Investigative Journalism Ondurush Toktonasyrov was detained. According to the activist, at 8:30 PM, he was taken to the investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for questioning. He said that he was at his daughter-in-law’s apartment, from where he was taken away. Relatives and human rights activists could not find out where he was for more than an hour. Later, it turned out to be the police. After the activist got in touch, it turned out that his phone had been taken away. Ondurush was handed a resolution to initiate criminal proceedings under the article «Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious or interregional enmity (discord)» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
