The judge of appeal of the Pavlodar Regional Court Gomar Sukhankulov forbade Ratel.kz correspondent for Pavlodar Region Olga Voronko to record the session on the appeal of the Pavlodar District Akimat employees against the administrative court ruling. The Akimat employees insist that the chairman of the district public council Bakytbek Batkeyev broke into their office and thus violated public order. Judge G. Sukhankulov, seeing that the journalist was recording the session, stopped Voronko, stating that her actions were illegal, the audio recording was kept by the court and the court would provide it if necessary. Meanwhile, only a party to the trial can request a recording of the hearing. Olga Voronko is not such a party.
