During a break between court hearings in the case of the former Minister of Culture and Sports on embezzlement of public funds, when Ratel.kz journalist Olga Voronko was interviewing a participant in the trial — an employee of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a representative of the legal service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan started filming them on the phone to interfere with the recording. At the same time, he stated that the museum is an institution subordinate to the Ministry and its employee had no right to give an interview without permission. In the end, the journalist filmed the material she needed.
