The magistrate court in Ufa fined RusNews journalist Olga Komleva RUB 94,447 on claims of two police departments for «protection of public order» at the action in support of Alexey Navalny on January 31, 2021. In addition, on May 10, the Sixth Cassation Court of General Jurisdiction upheld the appeal of Komleva and ex-head of Navalny Headquarters in Ufa Lilia Chanysheva. They appealed against the decision of the Kirovsky District Court of Ufa, according to which Komleva, Chanysheva, and Ilgam Yanberdin were charged RUB 147,000 in favor of the police for work at the rallies on January 23 and 31. In total, at least 17 lawsuits have been filed against Komleva by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Rosgvardia, their sum totalling more than RUB 5.4 million.
