A magistrate’s court in Ufa has recovered RUB 23,000 from RusNews journalist Olga Komleva on a lawsuit filed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs medical unit in Bashkortostan for overtime work by police officers at the January 23, 2021, rally in Ufa in support of Alexey Navalny. Ilgam Yanberdin and the convicted former coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters in Ufa, Liliya Chanysheva, also initially appeared as defendants. The Ministry of Internal Affairs dropped the claims against them, as Yanberdin is «in the zone of special military operation» and Chanysheva is in the detention center.
