Additional information:

On July 19, Olesya Vertinskaya, the correspondent of the news portal Road Control, was beaten outside her apartment. When she came out of the building, a guy she did not know approached her, asked for help, and then hit her hard in the face. Olesya fell down from the blow and the attacker started kicking her. The woman was rescued by a random passerby, and Olesya’s son called an ambulance. A computed tomography scan revealed a nose fracture with a dislocation. A few days before the attack, on July 16, Olesya received a text message from an unknown number, urging her to «be careful» with a certain LLP and its owner. On the same day, Olesya file a complaint with the prosecutor’s office saying that she had started receiving threats and feared for her life. «I think it all has to do with the torture of me in January and the coverage of the situation with Medet Amangeldy, a soldier from Aktau, who serves in Atyrau», — Olesya said.
