The Russian Ministry of Justice has added Olesya Krivtsova, a journalist for the Norwegian publication Barents Observer, to its register of “foreign agents.” The journalist left Russia in the spring of 2023. In December 2022, criminal cases were brought against her in Russia for “justifying terrorism” (Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code) and “discrediting” the Russian army (Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code).
