The Russian military searched the home of the editor-in-chief of a regional media outlet. They confiscated equipment and electronic media. Gunko was detained and taken to an unknown location. The reason might have been the publication about the pro-Ukrainian rally, which had been published on the website a few hours before the detention. Three days later, Hunko was released. The journalists said that they had previously received a letter to the editorial office e-mail with an offer of cooperation and a demand to cover the events «correctly».
