Oleg Shepelyuk was detained by security officials when he was covering a protest against the results of the presidential election. Police brutally twisted his arms and threatened him with a «swallow» pose. He was taken to the police department «to check the documents», held there for several hours, demanded to delete photos and then released. In the evening, the riot policemen knocked on the door of his apartment twice and demanded that he went with them to the police department. The journalist refused to go without an official summons. The next day, Oleg went to the police department on demand of the police to «give explanations». He was also given a «preventive talk» about the inadmissibility of participation in unauthorized street actions.
