Security officials detained Shepelyuk with force when he was covering a protest rally against results of the presidential elections and threatened him. They brought him to the district police department allegedly for a document check, asked to delete photos and released a few hours later. In the evening, security officials visited his apartment and asked to return to the police station. Next morning, he came back for a deposition. Police also held a «preventive conversation» with him about the inadmissibility of participation in unauthorised street actions.
