In the evening, the police officers came to the journalist's apartment and showed him the photos from the protest action where the journalist was seen. They demanded to go with them to the police department. They accused him of participating in an unauthorized event (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). On November 12, the court found Gruzdzilovich guilty and arrested him for 15 days based on a police report. He was held in the detention centre for two days until the trial. During the hearing, the journalist explained that he worked at the action as a journalist, had an editorial assignment, and was marked with a vest with the inscription «Press» – but the judge didn't consider his words.
