The Election Commission's Secretary asked Radio Azattyq journalist to leave the building: "The Head of the Territorial Election Commission said that you could not enter the building without the PCR-test." The journalist refused, citing a ruling by the Republic's chief medical officer on December 29 that members of the media were not required to undergo the PRC-test. "But the members of the election commission approached one by one and strongly demanded to leave, because "the management has told them that without the PCR-test you could not", said Nurtay Lahanuly. The Chairman warned that journalists could not be on the polling station for more than five minutes without the PCR test at another polling station.
