The film crew of the Khabar 24 TV channel in Shymkent — journalists Katerina Popkova and cameraman Nurmakhan Bekmuratov — were refused to be let in to the place where the concert was held in honor of the celebration of the City Day. Media representatives showed their IDs, but the policeman shouted that no one would let the journalists pass anyway and closed the door. The film crew had to go around the stage and film from the other side.
