Nurlan Gahramanli, a journalist and blogger, was arrested and sentenced to 30 days by the court for posting online prohibited content (Art. 388-1.1.1 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan). According to accounts from Gahramanli's relatives, he was forcibly taken from his residence in Sumgayit by individuals in civilian attire at noon. His family stated, "They arrived under the pretext of being from the Internet provider and summoned Nurlan. As soon as he stepped outside, they forcibly restrained him and took him away." During the court hearing, Nurlan Gahramanli told reporters that he had experienced both psychological and physical coercion, providing evidence of injuries on his body.
