The specialized inter-district court for administrative offences of Shymkent considered a case of libel against activist Nurken Aynabekov. A request to bring Aynabekov to administrative responsibility was filed by Mazhilis deputy B. Nazhmetdinuly. The reason was the activist’s Facebook post from January 31 entitled «How did the criminal become a deputy?», in which he reported on the deputy’s criminal record and the details of that case. The court dismissed the administrative case due to lack of corpus delicti.
