On May 17, 2021, it became known that the police officers handed to Nuri Abdurashitov, a citizen journalist of the Crimean Solidarity media, a warning about the inadmissibility of violation of the law «On meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches and pickets» and the law «On combating extremist actions». The police issued this warning on the eve of May 18, the Day of Remembrance of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People.
