The journalists of the website Elitar.kz Nurgul Zholymbetova and Timur Kazmin came to the Saryagash district of the Turkestan region to shoot material for the program «Servant of the People». This program shows the work of city and district heads and tells about problematic issues in the region. When the film crew came to the meeting of the district akim Mukhit Otarshiyev with the population, unknown people began to kick out the media representatives. The men demanded that they stop filming. At the same time, other journalists covering the meeting were not obstructed. The Elitar.kz film crew was able to continue their work only after the akim ordered not to interfere with the journalists’ work.
