The court in Almaty refused to satisfy the plaintiff — City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital named after I. Zhekenova — in the claim for the protection of business reputation brought against blogger Nurali Aitelenov. The hospital appealed to the court in connection with critical posts Nurali Aitelenov published in the period from June 16 to 27, 2023, on Facebook, when he was undergoing inpatient treatment. The medical institution considers the information disseminated to be untrue. The plaintiff asked to oblige the blogger to refute the information disseminated in 21 fragments of posts and to recover from him the expenses incurred in connection with the trial. The court decision came into force on September 18.
