The City Infectious Diseases Hospital in Almaty filed a lawsuit to protect honour, dignity, and business reputation against blogger Nurali Aitelenov. The reason for the lawsuit were critical posts of the blogger, published in the period from June 16 to 27, 2023, in Facebook, when he was undergoing inpatient treatment. The plaintiff asks to oblige the blogger to refute the information disseminated in 21 fragments of Nurali Aitelenov’s posts, to recover from him the expenses on payment for assistance of representatives in the amount of KZT 1,800,000; the expenses on payment for notarisation of evidence in the amount of KZT 345,940; and the expenses on payment of state duty. On October 23, the court left the claim without consideration due to the plaintiff’s failure to comply with the pre-trial dispute resolution procedure.
