The article of the editor-in-chief of Novy Fokus Mikhail Afanasyev of April 4 «Objectors, or Why 11 riot policemen of Rosgvardia refused to participate in a «special operation» in Ukraine» was removed from the media website. The page has a «dummy» from the hosting provider with the message that the material was banned. A criminal case was opened against Afanasyev under this article about «military fakes», and he was sent under arrest. According to the Investigative Committee, Afanasyev provided inaccurate information about the number of killed, missing and wounded servicemen, as well as about the «improper level of material support» in the Russian army.
