By court order, Novaya Gazeta issued a retraction of its 2021 investigation into alleged money laundering by businessman Artem Zuev, who is linked to the Magnitsky case. Because Novaya Gazeta’s website has been blocked since 2022, the retraction was published on the RBC website instead.
