The Basmanny District Court of Moscow imposed six fines on Novaya Gazeta and its editor-in-chief Dmitry Muratov for unmarked references to «foreign agents» organisations. The publications referred to the Anti-Corruption Foundation and the Doctors’ Alliance. The sessions were held on November 11 without representatives of Novaya Gazeta, as they had not been notified. The newspaper and Muratov were charged under the article on dissemination of information about non-commercial organisations listed in the register of foreign agents without appropriate marking (Part 2.1 of Article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation).
