On its own initiative, Beget hosting blocked access to the website of Novaya Gazeta’s St. Petersburg branch. The hosting support service explained that the blocking was due to the fact that the website appeared in the register of banned websites with the wording «access is restricted». The support service did not receive any letters from Roskomnadzor regarding the website.
