Moscow newsstands refused to sell the latest issue of Novaya Gazeta. The distributors returned the circulation to the editorial office. According to journalist Natalya Demina, the newsstands were threatened with inspections and fines by Moscow City Printing House. The editorial office believes that «this is payment for an honest cover». The issue told about the action of Channel One employee Marina Ovsyannikova, who held an anti-war action on live TV. The illustration on the front page was censored: some of the words on Ovsyannikova’s poster could not be seen.
