Novaya Gazeta newspaper was fined RUB 200,000 for spreading fake information. Its editor-in-chief Dmitry Muratov was fined RUB 60,000. The newspaper was punished for its article about the training of the provokers for the rally in support of Alexey Navalny on January 23 in Moscow. The article «So that not the cops would beat people up...» was removed from the newspaper website at the demand of Roskomnadzor.
