The trading company Bars-NORD LLP filed a civil suit with the court in Petropavlovsk to protect its business reputation for subscribers’ comments on the publication about the incident between the security guards of the LLP’s construction shop and a resident of Petropavlovsk. The defendant in the lawsuit is Instagram blogger Nikolay Nikolayenko. «Based on the video clip and the first reference to @barsstory, the readers of the page have an impression in general about the company, the shop, its employees. The public opinion of the negative reputation of the company in its activities, to employees is being formed», — was said in the statement of claim. Bars-NORD LLP demands to recognise the comments to Nikolayenko’s post as false and defamatory to the business reputation of the shop Bars-Stroy, to oblige the defendant to remove the publication and to recover court expenses from the blogger.
