Nikita Mogutin, former editor-in-chief of Baza, said that he left Russia in early April. He changed several countries and is now in Georgia. Mogutin was let go from Russia after a second attempt — at first, he was refused to cross the border because he was fined RUB 180,000 for an unauthorized rally where he worked as a journalist. He paid the fine and was able to leave Russia.
